Holland Mix

Holland Mix is an ideal substrate for healthy and vigorous plant growth. Its carefully formulated mix provides the ideal environment for root and vegetative plant development, ensuring a perfect balance between nutrition, moisture retention and oxygenation. The unique recipe of this soil contains blond and black Sphagnum peat, enriched perlite with the correct NPK content.

Black Sphagnum peat is characterised by its high water retention capacity and helps to maintain a constant humidity in the substrate favouring the rooting of the plant, it also contains many important nutrients for the first weeks of growth. The blond Sphagnum peat is more fibrous and lighter, it improves the structure of the soil providing the correct oxygenation that favours good root development.

High quality perlite is added to the peat mix to promote drainage for high oxygenation and aeration of the substrate, essential for healthy and strong root development.

The Holland Mix formulation is enriched with NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium) essential components for the plant. Nitrogen (N) promotes leaf growth, phosphorus (P) generates more robust roots and acts during flowering, and potassium (K) improves disease resistance as well as boosting fruit formation.

Finally, the level of electrical conductivity (EC) and pH of Holland Mix allows an efficient absorption of nutrients by the plant, favouring a correct nutritional balance.
